Arkane Studios does not exclude that after the experimental Redfall, it may return to the production of more familiar games. About this in an interview with reporters said game director, and producer Harvey Smith.
As the developer explained, in Redfall, the studio tried to realize itself in new directions – to create a large game world with a high density of content development that the audience can absorb both alone and in the company of friends.Â
However, in the future, Arkane Studios still wants to return to traditional formats.Â
“I think we’ll end up going back to very solid immersive sims eventually. But this time it was really interesting to talk about how Arkane’s open world could be, where the paths we laid out would take you,” – the developer shared his thoughts.
Recall that Arkane Studios is known for such games as Prey, Dishonored and Deathloop ( our review ). It is part of Bethesda, which in turn is owned by Microsoft.
