Baldur’s Gate 3 received a patch with improved kisses and easier partner changes

Larian Studios has released the sixth major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3, with changes teased throughout the week. The creators reminded that the update will require 150 GB of free space. If it is not there, then it is easier to delete the game and download it again.

Main changes:

  • Larian Studios has improved kissing – now it’s more realistic; unique animations were added for each hero, reflecting his character; new kisses range from romantic to “a little more intense”

  • Heroes in the camp were given new animations during inactivity

  • Players can now remove a selected companion from their party by talking to the companion they want to take back

  • When dialogue starts automatically, the game will now try to prioritize your avatar as the primary speaker

  • Several legendary actions have been added for bosses in Valor mode.

  • Expanded the number of ways in which Mintara can be stunned in the first act and later accepted into the party

  • If you started the game on the preset difficulty, you can now switch to Custom mode (unless you’re already playing on Valor mode).

  • Added a variety of colors for DualSense on PC

  • On Xbox, a crash that occurs when starting or closing a game has been fixed.

  • Reduced the delay between selecting step mode on the controller and actually starting it

  • Added preview images for AMD FSR 2.2 setup, and updated some other outdated previews

  • Improved lighting and fixed lighting bugs in many dialogues throughout the game

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
