Bella Ramsay: The Last of Us season 2 will begin filming later this year or early 2024
The first season of HBO ‘s The Last of Us wrapped up last week, and it looks like we’ll have to wait almost two years for a sequel.
During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, series star Bella Ramsay spoke about a possible production and release date for The Last of Us season 2.
The actress believes that they will start filming the new season at the end of this year or at the beginning of next, so, according to her, the premiere will most likely take place at the end of 2024 or at the beginning of 2025 .
“It will take some time,” Ramsay said.
Earlier, Pedro Pascal also hinted that the shooting of the second season of The Last of Us could start this year , while showrunner Craig Mazin , in turn, recalled that work on the first season from the start of filming to the release of the series took about 18 months , so that in any case, it’s not worth counting on an early premiere of the continuation, even if they really have time to start production at the end of this year.
