An element that confirms how the game is actually still alive and well, despite the prolonged silences and troubled development. The game was originally unveiled during E3 2017 and after the initial announcement it showed itself in more depth only with a gameplay video during E3 2018.
After that the game literally disappeared from the radar. In recent years there has been talk of how the game suffered from a lack of creative direction from the beginning of development. A crisis that was aggravated by the departure of lead designer Michael Ancel in September 2020.
Despite the lack of news regarding the game, Ubisoft has always confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was in full swing. Just yesterday, the French company announced the arrival of a new Ubisoft Forward , scheduled for September 10, 2022. Could this be the right time to receive some more in-depth information on the game? We just have to wait.
