Activision and Infinity Ward have officially announced the dates of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 beta. The Beta will be accessible to all, with early access dedicated to PlayStation players over the weekend September 18-20. Here are the dates in detail:
- September 16-17 (Early Access – PlayStation only)
- September 18-20 (Open Beta – PlayStation only)
- 22-23 September (Early Access – Xbox, PC, PlayStation)
- September 24-26 (Open Beta – All platforms)
As you can see, the first Beta weekend of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled for September 18-20 via an Open Beta exclusive to PlayStation. Early access for PlayStation pre-orders is scheduled for September 16 and 17. On September 22 and 23, however, early access will be held on Xbox and PC in addition to the Open Beta on PlayStation consoles. Finally, from 24 to 26 September the Open Beta will be accessible to all.
In addition to confirming the dates for the beta, Infinity Ward and Activision have also announced the arrival of the new Call of Duty: What’s Next? Event. scheduled for September 15 and presented the new Marina Bay Grand Prix map , which introduces Call of Duty combat within a Formula One track.
