Capcom plans to sell more $70 games after Dragon’s Dogma 2

As you know, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is Capcom’s first $70 game. From recent communication with investors, it turned out that the publisher is not going to stop and plans to release more games at this price.

Capcom once again reminded that production costs are constantly rising, so the publisher will carefully select the cost of each specific title. However, Capcom will also rely on player input.

In the same conversation with investors, Capcom representatives said that within the company, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is assessed as a title capable of selling millions of copies. Apparently, this is also a factor influencing pricing.

Last fall, the president of Capcom admitted that prices for video games are too low, and development has become more expensive.
