Studio Microids revealed the release date of Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express, a detective game based on the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. The title will go on sale on October 19 on PC and all current consoles, including Nintendo Switch.
Surprisingly, for all the time the developers have not shown a single trailer. So here are some early screenshots for you:
The game’s plot will follow the book and will follow Detective Hercule Poirot as he investigates a murder that took place on a luxury express train. However, the developers constantly mention that we are talking about an “augmented” story, presented in a “new light”, so it’s not a fact that the denouement will be the same as Agatha Christie’s.
In addition to Hercule Poirot, you will play a completely new character for the original story – a girl named Joanna Locke. Judging by the smartphone in the official art, the heroine will investigate this case already in modern times.
