Digital Foundry conducted a technical analysis of the Star remaster of Wars: Dark Forces, praising the work of Nightdive Studios

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remasteris about to debut on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, and Digital Foundry’s technical analysis certainly sounds like an advertisement for Nightdive Studios’ latest title.

Announced last August, the Star Wars: Dark Forces remaster brings back the 1995 shooter while taking advantage of modern platforms, delivering up to 4K resolution and 120 frames per second.

In any case, what surprised Digital Foundry’s John Linneman was primarily the optimization of the gameplay, in particular the extraordinary adaptation of commands to the controller, providing a speed and precision that is rarely seen in such projects.

Basically, with the sole exception of Blade Runner, Nightdive Studios can still boast of excellent remasters, which the American team now specializes in creating.

Moreover, last October the studio “invited” Phil Spencer to remake Hexenand Heretic: Another dream project that we hope will come true.
