The initiative, which set out with the goal of providing end-to-end data services to companies with the internet of things technology by producing pocket satellites, is currently managed by a team of 20 people.

Last July, we told you that Hello Space , a domestic initiative focusing on pocket satellites, is preparing to send its first satellite, Istanbul, into space . In this article, we take a closer look at the Hello Space initiative.

Hello Space, which started its operations last May, was founded in Ankara by Zafer Şen and Muzaffer Duysal . The initiative, which set out with the goal of providing end-to-end data services to companies with the internet of things technology by producing pocket satellites, is currently managed by a team of 20 people.

Although Hello Space launched last May, the company’s first mobile satellite, “Istanbul,” has been in development since January. The “Istanbul” pocket satellite , developed by Hello Space, will be sent into space next February with the SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket.

It will send more than 50 satellites into space

Let’s add that Hello Space, which will work on more mobile satellites after Istanbul, aims to send more than 50 satellites into space in the future. Hello Space, which will create a network of more than 50 mobile satellites together with mobile satellites, will provide data service via satellite by covering the whole world.

Let’s add that the data service to be provided by Hello Space will be used together with the internet of things technology. The data service offered over pocket satellites is provided by transferring many data such as location , temperature and heart rate from ground stations to the cloud system.

Let’s also share that image and sound cannot be transferred over this data service. Hello Space, which develops both its hardware and software in our country, has not received any investment so far. Hello Space, which will provide services to companies such as digital agriculture, logistics and energy companies that provide services in the field of the internet of things, will generate income through annual or monthly subscriptions .

The main goal of Hello Space is to ensure that the data service is used more effectively and widely by everyone , not only in Turkey, but also around the world via the Internet of Things.
