Focusing on sustainable food technologies, Malty received a seed investment of 2.4 million TL

Malty, which emerges as a sustainable food technologies initiative born out of Anadolu Efes Enterprise Workshop , announced that it has received a new investment. According to the information conveyed by Malty , the venture received an investment of 2.4 million TL in the seed investment round.

Names such as Lima Ventures ,  Boğaziçi Ventures Chairman of the Board Agah Uğur and Entrepreneurial Institutions Platform Chairman Tuğrul Ağırbaş also participated in the new investment tour of Malty, which is also the first startup to commercialize by purchasing its seed investment from Anadolu Efes .

Founded in 2021 by Elif Özcü , Merve Yetiş and Berkan Mifleh at Anadolu Efes Initiative Workshop, an in-house entrepreneurship program where Anadolu Efes employees can bring their innovative ideas to life , Malty produces malt-based healthy snacks. Let’s also add that Malty prevents the use of at least 1,000 liters of water in 1 kilogram of raw material that it converts .

Making statements about the new investment, Malty founders stated that their goal is to grow rapidly by developing sustainable and functional foods first in the Turkish market and then in the global market, and to create a circular food economy with a sustainable perspective .

According to the information conveyed by the Malty team, the initiative will continue to work to continue to bring healthy, upcycled raw materials to the food industry and to carry this journey globally, with the investment received .
