During the Galaxy Unpacked event there was also space for Samsung ‘s new generation of wearables . We are obviously talking about the new Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro .
On both devices we find the BioActive sensor – introduced with the fourth generation -, that is a single chip to manage three distinct sensors: heart rate, bioelectric impedance and electrical heart signal. The set of these three sensors allows you to monitor with good precision the values of the heartbeat , the level of oxygen in the blood, as well as the stress levels, blood pressure. It is also possible to carry out an ECG . The two wearables are also equipped with an infrared sensor to measure body temperature, as well as a function that allows you to obtain an estimate of the Body Composition . In short, a truly complete package of health functions.
The two models are distinguished from each other by the type of houses. The Watch 5 Pro has a titanium case and a reinforced sapphire crystal dial. It is ideal for those who need a very resistant smartwatch, perhaps because they like to spend a lot of time in nature or need it during sports.
The Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro will be available in Italy starting from August 26th. The Galaxy Watch5 is available in two sizes, 40 and 44 mm, and starts at € 299 for the Bluetooth model of the Watch5, up to € 349 for the model with LTE connectivity. As for the Watch 5Pro, you have to go up to € 499 and € 549 respectively.
