Bethesda has announced the Spider’s Thread update for Ghostwire: Tokyo. It will bring extended cutscenes to the game, new locations with additional missions, including a creepy high school, two new enemies, and two new abilities.
The developers will also add a special “Spider House” mode to the game for fans of roguelikes – here you will need to go through 120 floors, 30 of which will be randomly generated. Winning each level will unlock certain upgrades, revealing the details of the new story in parallel.
Along with this, Bethesda announced that Ghostwire: Tokyo will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on April 12th. On March 21, the game will be added to PS Plus Extra.
The game was released on March 25, 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PC. This was the second and last temporary exclusive for Bethesda’s new Sony console after DEATHLOOP ( our review ).
The Spider’s Thread update will be free on all platforms.
