Google: Results now better emphasize words in quotes


Many Google searches are handled as a couple of separate words and the search engine finds the relationships between words to find the best results from around the web, in some cases the Google search results would show a snippet chosen by the site and in others will show a relevant preview of the page text.

But when you put some of the queries in quotes , Google makes sure to find those exact words in that precise order and most of the time, the search results page would also show the quote in the appropriate context of the page.

Today Google announced that its search results page will now always show the quoted words in the context of how they appear. For example, a previous exception was if words appeared in the page navigation menus or anywhere else that wasn’t a useful snippet.

In the blog post, the company offers an example of a “Google Search” search in quotes. In the second search result, the phrase “Google Search” appears on the page because it is used in the alternative text of an image on the page and although it does not appear as standard text on the page, “Google Search” is included in bold in the snippet. along with a nearby phrase to give you an idea of ​​where to look.
