James Gunn doesn’t think there’s a feud between Marvel Studios and DC
During an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, director James Gunn spoke about the standoff between Marvel Studios and DC. The director buried the hatchet a long time ago and believes that there is no hatred for each other in companies.
As Gann noted, both companies have the same goal – to make a good movie for the audience, and that is why they should not be at odds:
People have this weird belief that Marvel Studios and DC hate each other. But it’s not. We do one job. We want people to go to the cinema to watch movies. This is what matters. And I think that we are working together to achieve this. And the more good Marvel Studios movies, the better for DC movies. The more good DC movies, the better for Marvel Studios movies.
Gunn’s words are worth listening to, because arguing over who makes the best films is pointless. Fans will continue to do it anyway, proving that Batman is better than Spider-Man and so on.
