Relations between India and China deteriorated when 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a fierce clash with Chinese troops in the Ladakh border region on June 15. The clash took place after soldiers from both countries accused each other of border violations. While the conflicts that started on June 15 still continue in the military field, these disagreements were also reflected in mobile applications. It has been announced that India has banned 118 applications, including the world-famous game PUBG. India has also banned the TikTok app before. The Ministry of Communications, Electronics and Information Technologies of India announced that the applications were banned on the grounds that they “posed a national security threat”.
