Portal IGN has published a new trailer for Aliens: Dark Descent with a first look at the gameplay of the game.
The isometric real-time tactical action game has also received a release date and will be released on June 20 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
The project will offer an original story set in the Aliens universe, where players will take command of a colonial infantry unit, including five different classes, and stop the invasion of xenomorphs on a distant planet. Enemies in the game will also include out-of-control Weyland-Yutani operatives and completely new creatures that have not previously appeared in the franchise.
The gameplay of Aliens: Dark Descent is designed for a strategic approach to battles and a change of tactics depending on the tasks, and also involves the competent distribution of resources and control over the condition of the soldiers.
The game is developed by Tindalos Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment.
