Leak: First look at RTX 4060 Founders Edition – NVIDIA’s new mid-range graphics card
Insider KittyYYuko didn’t stop at the reference RTX 4070 Ti design leak and shared the first photos of the alleged RTX 4060 Founders Edition.
The published images show a small desktop graphics card of the RTX 40 line, which clearly uses the same design principle as all Founders Edition models based on the Ada architecture. The main difference is more compact dimensions, occupying only two PCIe slots.
The graphics accelerator is labeled as “RTX 4060”, but KittyYYuko admits that it could be RTX 4060 Ti. The exact reason for this statement is unknown, but it can be assumed that NVIDIA may have changed the specifications or is testing both models in-house with the same cooling system.
The RTX 4060 Ti is expected to feature an AD106-350 chip with 4352 CUDA cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, and a 128-bit bus, while TDP will be reduced from 200W to 160W compared to the upcoming RTX 4070.
As for the regular RTX 4060, it is credited with the entry-level GPU AD107-400 with 3072 CUDA cores and an even lower TDP (115 W), but the memory configuration should not change. Both models will have a PCIe Gen4 x8 connection interface.
The cost, the date of the announcement, and the timing of the start of sales of video cards have not yet been disclosed.
