Users of the beta version of Diablo IV, which has been closed testing since March 17 on PC and consoles, met the legendary boss from the previous parts. The players encountered the Butcher while exploring one of the dungeons.

The boss offered serious resistance: it was not possible to cope with the enemy and had to retreat. After visiting the location again, it was not possible to find the Butcher – the boss disappeared somewhere.
Eyewitnesses note that when meeting with the Butcher, the boss pursues their characters for a while, and then disappears. He probably then appears in another dungeon.
