According to CNBC, a merger with Paramount Global is still being discussed by Skydance Media – the company is conducting “due diligence on a potential transaction.” Paramount Global, in turn, created a committee and hired a consultant to review potential bids for the entire company or assets.

Comcast, which owns NBC Universal, is not interested in buying Paramount Global or its individual assets. However, Comcast is exploring possible collaborations, such as merging Peacock and Paramount+ streaming services or launching a combined tariff.

Warner Bros. Market Value Discovery was valued at about $29 billion at the end of 2023, Paramount at just over $10 billion.
