Mining disaster in China: 10 dead, 7 injured

10 people were killed and 7 injured as a result of the collapse of a coal mine in China’s Gansu province.

A Coal mine collapsed in the Jingtai district of Baiyin city in China ‘S Gansu Province. After a large number of first aid and police teams were sent to the scene, search and rescue efforts were initiated in the region. While 16 workers, 7 of whom were injured, were rescued alive from the collapsed mine, the lifeless bodies of 10 workers were found.

On the other hand, authorities reported that efforts are continuing to rescue 17 people trapped under the rubble.
