New vampire shooter EvilVEvil is a potential alternative to Redfall

A new first-person shooter with horror elements called EvilVEvil from Toadman Games has the potential to become a worthy replacement for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. The latter lost support from the developers from Sharkmob, leaving the niche of vampire action games unoccupied.

Many expected Redfall from Arkane Studios to fill this niche, but the game turned out to be little less than a complete failure, so now the audience’s attention is focused on EvilVEvil from the independent studio Toadman Games.

In EvilVEvil, players take on the role of a member of the Order of the Dragon, an organization dedicated to eradicating evil. The gameplay is a co-op action game in which a small squad of protagonists fight their way through hordes of enemies to uncover a dark conspiracy.

In addition to the 11-mission story campaign, players will be able to choose from three characters with unique characteristics and customize their weapons to suit their preferred fighting style. Support for game updates after release has also been confirmed.

EvilVEvil is scheduled for release in the summer of 2024. However, closed beta testing starts on March 1, allowing those who wish to evaluate the game in advance.
