Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will receive a story addition

Ubisoft Montpellier has published online a roadmap for post-release support for the metroidvania Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown until the end of 2024. The developers promise three free updates and story DLC.

The first update will be released on March 20. It will add a mode for speedrunners, permanent death and new clothes for Sargon. Next in the spring there will be an update with a mode for fighting bosses and clothes, in the summer – new challenges, amulets and costumes.

Embark on an adventure in a thrilling platformer set in the mythological world of Persia. Here you will have control over space and time! Play as Sargon and go from master of swords to living legend. Master acrobatic fighting techniques, discover new powers of time and unique superpowers.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was released on January 18, 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. A demo version is available on all platforms. The game from Ubisoft Montpellier studio received high marks from the press and ordinary players, but sold poorly.
