Relaunched MOBA Paragon will close in April

South Korean studio Netmarble announced the decision to close Paragon: The Overprime – a kind of restart of the original MOBA Paragon from Epic Games. The game servers will be disabled on April 22.

Since entering Early Access, Paragon: The Overprime has been a work in progress as we continued to improve and update it and think of different ways to meet the expectations of our warriors. After careful consideration of the situation, we have concluded that we will not be able to provide consistent or satisfactory service in the future. As a result, we have decided to discontinue the service on Monday, April 22, 2024.

The original Paragon was released in early access in 2016, but failed to attract the attention of players. Two years later, Epic Games closed the game and made all assets publicly available. As a result, several “spiritual successors” appeared, as well as a full-fledged relaunch from Netmarble, released in December 2022.
