Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7: free next-gen upgrade for PS5, Xbox Series S / X and PC available
Available for free next-gen upgrade for Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7. The announcement by Capcom.
During the Capcom Showcase, the next gen upgrade for PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 was officially released , introducing a whole series of graphic improvements concerning resolution , framerate and other technical aspects, including support for Ray Tracing and, on PS5, 3D audio and DualSense.

The upgrade is available now for free, through a free digital update for PS5, support for the integrated Smart Delivery system on Xbox and patches on PC. Basically anyone who already owns the original versions can already download the update for next-gen platforms immediately and at no additional cost.
Staying on the subject, the Resident Evil Village DLC was also announced tonight , coinciding with the arrival of the third-person mode and other news for the Mercenaries mode. All three of these additional content will be included in the Gold Edition of the game which also includes the base game and will be available starting October 28, 2022.
