Riot Games’ fighting game in the League of Legends universe is called 2XKO

Riot Games announced that the fighting game in the League of Legends universe, formerly known as Project L, has received an official name – 2XKO . According to the company, the title with 2v2 battles will become available in 2025.



The game will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. 2XKO will have server – side rollback netcode , that is, the fighting game will provide stable play even over a Wi-Fi connection.

2XKO will support 1v1, 2v2 and even 1v2 matches. The game works on the tag-team principle – you control one hero, but your partner can come to the rescue at the right moments. One player can control either a specific character or two at once (if playing solo).



The 2XKO fighting game will be distributed using a shareware model.
