See Skyrim with 1000 Mods and Reshade Ray Tracing in 4K

Digital Dreams has released a new video showcasing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with over 1,000 mods and Reshade ray tracing. The video gives another idea of what a heavily modified version of Skyrim looks like on modern PCs.

The main thing is that there is a complete list of mods used – there are actually more than 1000 of them. In addition, RTGI ray tracing was applied using Reshade. This solution is inferior to built-in ray tracing, but also improves graphics.

To record video, Digital Dreams used an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 video card. In 4K resolution with so many mods, the frame rate on the RTX 4090 never dropped below 60 frames, even in battles and cities remaining above 65 frames.

It is clear that Skyrim is a very old game. But this version with mods looks very good. Moreover, by disabling Reshade with RTGI, you can significantly increase FPS, since it is Reshade that causes the greatest damage to performance, and not the 1000 mods themselves.

A complete list of all mods used can be found here.
