Starfield: fan makes an interactive star map

Thanks to the first information released by Bethesda in recent days, a fan was able to create an Interactive Star Map of Starfield complete with information on planetary systems. The user I_Need_a_Fast_Horse explains on Reddit that he took a cue from the gameplay sequences with the galactic map of the game, shown on the occasion of the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, with the aim of creating an interactive version.

The map is already available on the GitHub pages and is freely accessible. At the moment, however, the map has only 75 of the over 100 systems promised by the developers, but the author has already promised that he will constantly update this interactive map, drawing on every possible information from future gameplay or through the information shared by Bethesda Softworks itself.

The map even allows you to perform approximate calculations of the distances between the stars , allowing the planning of routes to be followed for long journeys based on a hypothetical “jump distance” offered by your spaceship. The map is also enriched with some background music with very relaxing tones and a 3D animation for the fly-by of the planetary systems.

Before leaving, we remind you that Starfield will be available at the beginning of 2023 on Xbox Series X / S, PC and at launch on Xbox Game Pass.
