Studio inkle Ltd has revealed the release date for A Highland Song , a platformer in which you not only have to climb rocks, but also survive in harsh mountain conditions. The game will be available on PC and Nintendo Switch on December 5th.

Moira McKinnon runs away. Experience a wild adventure in the Scottish Highlands in this action-packed platformer with action-packed story, maps and music from the creators of Heaven’s Vault and 80 Days.
The game’s plot tells the story of a 15-year-old girl named Moira, who received a letter from her uncle and rushed to his lighthouse on the coast right through the mountains. In order not to die, she will have to hide from the wind and snow and at the same time reveal the secrets of the local mountains.
One of the interesting features of the game has to be the fact that the landscape you move through is “shaped around the music” – whatever that means.
