System Shock remake will be released on consoles in May

Nightdive Studios announced that the remake of the original System Shock will be released on consoles on May 21, that is, almost a year after its release on PC. The game will be released on both generations of PlayStation and Xbox.

Interestingly, Nightdive Studios wanted to release System Shock on consoles in early 2024, and the ESRB rating was received back in September. The developers promised to completely remake the ending with the release of the console version.

System Shock is a full-fledged remake of the 1994 hit. Enjoy iconic gameplay with modern HD graphics, improved controls, redesigned interface, new music and sound effects. By the way, SHODAN, one of the most famous video game villains, was voiced by the same actress as in the original. This is the revival of one of the greatest games in history, which had a huge impact on the industry.

System Shock Remake was released on May 30, 2023 on PC. The updated classic received high marks from the press and ordinary gamers.
