The latest update for Cyberpunk 2077 fixes game crashes that occurred when using Razer mice

As promised by the developers from the CD Projekt RED studio, they continue to monitor the technical status of Cyberpunk 2077 and release updates, although official support for the game has ceased. The attention of the authors was required due to the appearance of a rather strange bug in the game, which only affected players with Razer mice. As it turned out, critical crashes occurred when using the side buttons on mice, but this problem has already been fixed.

CD Projekt RED said it has released a new update for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, which does not change the version of the game. The patch is aimed solely at eliminating crashes that occurred in the game when assigning actions to the side buttons on Razer mice. The developers did not explain what the problem was, only advising players to check for updates and download a patch to improve the stability of the game, even if they do not use Razer devices.

At the same time, the developers warned that the update may partially affect custom modifications for Cyberpunk 2077. There has been no confirmation of this from the player community yet. The mod authors assure that their files work correctly after the new update.
