In addition, according to Warren, there were plans to release a new part of DOOM on competitor consoles. Apparently, this is an indirect confirmation of what id Software is currently working on.

The journalist writes that the final decision has not yet been made, but he is confident that, as part of the new strategy, Xbox will not stop at releasing the four announced games on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Microsoft Gaming announced a partial change in business strategy on the evening of February 15th. The company is porting a number of games to third-party platforms, but is not going to give up consoles and exclusives.
