The first Italian multimedia eco-mural called Impollinèmesi was inaugurated on the steps of Monterosso in Carrara . The author is the street artist Zed1, the one who created Unlockthechange , a sustainable mural in Naples. Carrara’s represents a fusion of sculptural and musical art, technology and the fight against pollution.

The work presents a QR code that refers visitors to a particular soundtrack recorded with experimental techniques of Field-recording in an apiary, in collaboration with the beekeeper Martina Bigi . The work was then enriched with sculptural elements by the artist Silvia Scaringella .

The goal of this mural is not only to bring a breath of beauty, but above all to make the air more breathable . This is because the Airlite paints with which it was made will allow it to absorb about 6.8 kg of carbon dioxide in the first month.

Impollinèmesi tells of love seen through the eyes of plants. A cupid makes the flowers fall in love, piercing them with arrows on which the bees in turn land. Cupid, however, is not a divinity, but humanity itself – the new generations – in whose hands is the fate of the bees and who can still decide to stem the depopulation of this precious species for the entire ecosystem with his conscious intervention. .
