Film critics panned SJ Clarkson’s film, noting terrible dialogue, the overall quality of the script, terrible editing and a ragged structure. Some journalists are wondering how such a star-studded cast ended up in this film in the first place.

However, some observers were able to find several advantages. Many note the performance of Dakota Johnson, who in some places carries the film. Others believe that the tape should have been released if only for the memes.

I have to apologize to Morbius, because it turns out that Sony Pictures needed a little more time and a lot of misplaced confidence to make an even worse Spider-Man spin-off, the astonishingly disgusting Madame Web.

“Meanwhile in another universe…” Deviating from the usual genre, Madame Web tells a standalone origin story for one of Marvel’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspenseful thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a Manhattan paramedic who may have clairvoyant powers. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she begins a relationship with three young women who are destined for a powerful future… if they can survive the deadly present.

Madame Web also stars Isabela Mercel, Emma Roberts, Celeste O’Connor and Adam Scott. The film will premiere on February 14, 2024.
