Assetto Corsa 2 received a tentative release date – sales of the series exceeded 28 million copies

In a report for the first half of the financial year 2022/2023 (as of December 31), 505 Games confirmed that the new part of the racing simulator Assetto Corsa from the Italian studio Kunos Simulazioni is scheduled for release in the spring of 2024.

The publisher did not reveal details, only noting that the project is currently in development. The game is referred to in the document as the “second version” of Assetto Corsa.

505 Games also announced that Assetto Corsa games have total sales of 28 million copies and generated 104 million euros in revenue.

The first Assetto Corsa debuted in 2014. It was followed in 2018 by the release of Assetto Corsa Competizione. Both games are available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
