The Stellar Blade demo attracted about 690 thousand daily active users

Analytics firm Ampere Analysis recently reported that the Stellar Blade demo launched on PS5 on March 29 attracted nearly double the number of daily active users (DAUs) compared to the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo at its peak.

Ampere Analysis estimates that the Stellar Blade demo peaked at approximately 690,000 DAU, while Final Fantasy VII Rebirth had 380,000 users. After the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the number of DAUs jumped to 2.21 million. If this trend continues, analysts predict that Stellar Blade could surpass 4.01 million players at launch.

While Shift Up didn’t share public metrics for the demo, they did mention that some players had already put over 50 hours into the game.
