In addition to the free Mercenaries mode add-on, the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake will receive an updated Ada Wong story campaign as DLC in the future.
Relevant details were shared by the well-known insider Dusk Golem, who said that the spy campaign is currently in development. According to him, the mission for Adu Wong will now be more coherent and longer than it was in the original .
Recall that Resident Evil 4 was released on the GameCube without this content – Separate Ways (“Other Ways”) was originally created for the release of the game on the PlayStation 2.
In the additional story campaign, players took on the role of Ada Wong, exploring the village and surroundings, completing tasks set by Albert Wesker, and helping Leon Kennedy survive. It was the spy in red who rang the village bell, which distracted the crowds of aggressive residents from Leon.
