The serial film adaptation of The Last of Us is breaking the charts, and a new HBO show based on the popular game series is already looming on the horizon. We are talking about the adaptation of Fallout, the first season of which has already been filmed.

The completion of the work at the site became known thanks to a picture posted by a Reddit forum visitor under the pseudonym monsieuremilie. The image shows a message from the set of the series. It says: “Here is the end of the first season of Fallout. A huge thank you to the most hardworking team. It was a pleasure to work with you.”

HBO has not officially confirmed the end of filming. The company as a whole rarely shares the details of the Fallout film adaptation. However, with The Last of Us, she followed a similar tactic. The main marketing campaign in the case of the adaptation of the Naughty Dog game started three months before the premiere. It seems that the new show will be promoted in the same way.

Fallout – what is known about the series

• The show is produced by Kilter Films, the studio behind Westworld. The tape is created in partnership with Amazon Studios and will be released on Amazon Prime.
• Graham Wagner, writer and producer of Silicon Valley and The Office, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, writer of 2018’s Tomb Raider: Lara Croft and Captain Marvel, are said to be the showrunners for the film.
• The pilot episode will be directed by Jonathan Nolan, brother of Christopher Nolan and screenwriter of many of his films.
• The show will retain the tongue-in-cheek humor and “edgy tone” that the Fallout series is known for.
• The film began filming in New York in the summer of 2022. The audience was promised to tell the original plot, and not to retell the stories of interactive projects. The release date has not yet been announced.
