GameStop sent a note to its employees on Thursday, announcing a major new wave of layoffs . “We want to streamline our workforce, in order to make sure that the right talents are in the right place,” reads the communication.
We do not know the details of the staff reduction plan and therefore the number of workers who will lose their jobs is not known. The bulk of the layoffs should, however, relate to the company’s headquarters, which is the offices in Grapevine, Texas.
